Abstract

|
A simple molding method for making PROSTALAC in 2-stage exchange arthroplasty for infected total hip arthroplasty was developed. Using the method for molding teeth, a mold of the bipolar hemiarthroplasty and PROSTALAC were made by pouring cement into the mold. With this method, a PROSTALAC, with proper size, shape & smooth articular surface, was obtained.
